The study of geoinformatics at Merseburg University focusses on programming, software technology, databases and distributed systems. Students also work independently on application-oriented projects. On the Master Degree course, theory and practice of geographical information systems are combined with aspects of agent-based systems and used in projects with public authorities and businesses, who have the benefit of specialist knowledge, while our students gain practical experience.
